Susan D. Wiediger: Research Interests
Curriculum Development & Independent Projects

Introduction

In addition to people interested in doing research on my established projects (topic maps, safety instruction, pattern languages, C.L.I.P. data analysis), I also welcome people who are interested in doing independent study working on developing or evaluating curriculum or (sometimes) extending a curriculum project beyond the classroom. This could include doing work on testing or developing materials for use at any level, from K-20+. Examples of possible projects include developing workshop or lab materials for use in college courses, preparation of educational road shows for area schools, or development of lesson plans and activities for a particular grade level and/or subject. Most such projects are developed in conversations between me and the interested person, so if you have an interest in such an area, please come talk to me.
