This is a page to show how to add content to Microsoft Powerpoint Microsoft PowerPoint is a great program for creating and organizing multimedia content for presentation. Upon opening Microsoft PowerPoint, you will want to start adding content to your presentation. When you want to add image file to your presentation, you click > Insert > Image > From File. This will place a photo on your workspace. At this point, you can resize and relocate your photo. You will probably want to add a headline, in addition to your standard text. To add a "Word Art" headline, you have to press the button that looks like a slanted A in the "Drawing" toolbar. Then, you select the style and size to add to your page. Once inserted into your presentation, you can always manipulated and relocate the headline as desired. You can add a background to your presentation by "Right Clicking" the page layout workspace. You will be prompted with the color or style choices for your background. Select the one that best fits your presentation. In this case, I wanted a two colored background with a specific gradient. I advise experimenting with these features to find the best fit for you and your presentation. Then you can add standard text to your presentation by clicking the "Text box" in the "Drawing" menu. Insert the text box in the desired location. You can change font size, color, and style later. I won't go into too much detail, but you can choose how and when you want your multimedia content to appear in your presentation by "right clicking" the content you would like to adjust. A menu will drop down allowing you to choose "Custom Animation". I advise experimenting with the various options. In this photo, I selected the way to have my text enter. To add video or audio to your presentation you click > Insert > (either) Movie or Sound > From File. I then try out my presentation by clicking > Slide Show > View Show.
