I graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, specializing in Advertising with a minor in Speech Communications. I am seeking a position in the advertising field where I can apply the knowledge I have received from SIUe and my internship at the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
I completed the following courses while attending SIUe that's prepared me for a career in the advertising field: Writing for the Media Media Planning, Publication Layout and Design, Electronic Media Advertising, Designing and Writing for the World Wide Web, Adobe Flash. I also learned a variety of programs such as InDesign, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash Cs5, QR Codes, Avid Express DV, Canon XL-1 & 2mini-DV ENG cameras.
My six-month internship at the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation provided practical work experience where I completed a wide range of work from posting and updating our social media websites to crating a variety of print ads for local events.
I am confident I can make a substantial contribution to your company. I am reliable, work well with others and a fast learner that meets challenges head on. My organizations skills have allowed me to prioritize schedules and complete projects within a time and budget guidelines.
