Mission Involvment

Throughout highschool and college I have been involved in multiple mission trips and organizations. I attended St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville, Illinois and participated in the youth group missions since Jr. High.

My first mission trip was a gospel sharing trip to the street party at the Indianapolis 500 when I was 14 years old. We took a team of men from the church out to the street party to engage in spiritual conversations with everyone possible and we took walks around the stadium to pray for everyone present.

Since that trip I have participated in multiple service outreaches to churches across the country doing both gospel sharing in the community and physical labor.

Campus Crusade for Christ/ Cru

PCB

Once I came to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in Edwardsville IL, I became in involved with the Christian organization Campus Crusade for Christ my freshman year. By my sophomore year I was asked to join the leadership team and Emcee/play in the band for our weekly meeting. The Summer of my Sophomore year I attended the San Diego Summer Project which was a 10 week leadership opportunity, training and equipping students to share their faith both confidently and competently.

The following summer I returned to San Diego as a student staff intern training and teaching students the skills and abilities I learned as well as discipling 3 guys and challenging them to take greater steps of faith in their walk with the Lord.

I am currently now still involved with Cru (Formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ) as a member of the leadership team, and an active participant in events and retreats throughout the semester.
