Software integration is perhaps the most difficult and important decision educators must make in regards to computer technology in the classroom. The expense, in both time and money, is daunting, and software which is part of today's curriculum may be "out of date" by the start of the next school year. On the other hand, the right software can be an excellent tool to supplement the curriculum. Types of software, their selection and evaluation, and legal issues surrounding the applications are of the greatest importance to educators.
