June 16 - Well, it has been a little while, hasn't it? Mommy has been so busy taking care of me that she hasn't had time to take care of the website. She has some new pictures and stuff that she wants to put up. Just bear with her.

I had a GREAT day today. I got to go to my very first Homecoming. I got to work in the food stand for a little while and even see a parade. I am pretty tired now, though. I guess I'll go back tomorrow and see what else is up.

While I was at the homecoming, I got passed around to all of Mommy and Daddy's friends. Everyone kept rubbing my head. What is it? Haven't they ever seen a baby with a red mohawk? Got me.... Anyhow, I recognized one lady's touch at the homecoming. My favorite nurse from Cardinal Glennon came to the homecoming to try some of the best chicken in the world and she got a bonus...she got to see me. I really liked seeing Theresa and I know that Mommy and Daddy did, too. I hope they had fun because they had to come all the way from Missouri, wherever that is.

I am sure that everyone wants to know what has been going on with me since I got to come home. The first week that I was home, my daddy stayed home to help Mommy with me. I really liked having Daddy home and so did Mommy. But, Daddy eventually had to go back to work. Mommy said that he went back so we could afford Wal-Mart. What is a Wal-Mart?

I went to see my pediatrician and found out that I was 5 pounds and 14 ounces and 18.5 inches long. The doctor said that I looked much better. I like him. I like him so much that I puked all over his office. He was very understanding about it.

Then, I went to the doctor with Mommy. We got to see her doctor and the staff from his old office. All the girls at Doctor Hurford's old office kept rubbing my head, too. What is up with THAT?

This week, Mommy was up at the park a whole bunch getting ready for the homecoming. I got to sleep outside this time. I really liked the feeling of wind on my face. Wonder if Daddy will take me on the 4-wheeler soon. I think that thing would cause lots of wind.

I got to meet my day care provider this week. I think I am going to like her. She introduced me to her daughter, Natalie. Natalie wants to be a doctor or nurse when she grows up and she wants to take care of babies. She sure liked me. But, they kept rubbing my head, too. I give UP!!! How is a girl to have a good hair day when everyone keeps touching the 'do?

Well, I have to run. It is time for bed....ha, I DOUBT that!

June 18 - I got to meet my Aunt Karen, Cousin Heather and Uncle Kevin today while I was visiting Grandma. They seem pretty nice.I guess I'll be seeing them around at Grandma's.

I survived my first homecoming. Mommy already drafted me into working a shift in the food stand and a couple of hours in the ride ticket booth. It was pretty fun. I can't wait until I am old enough to ride those carnival rides. I hope Daddy gets another job before then so he can afford me!

Today, Mommy put some REAL clothes on me. I am sporting a pretty pink outfit that my friend, Sabrina, Mommy's email pen palfrom Missouri, bought me. It says 'My Daddy Loves Me'. Boy, they aren't kidding, either. He thinks the sun rises and setsin me. Don't tell Mommy, but I think I am Daddy's favorite girl now!

June 24 - Today was my original birthday. Mommy said that she was an early bird so I guess that is OK with me, too. I had a pretty good 'supposed to be my birthday' day today. I went to Grandma and Grandpa Meyers' house and then we went to dinner at Greg and Lindy's. We had fun but we had to leave quickly because when Mommy was changing my diaper, she saw something that she said she didn't want to get all over the interior of her van. My mommy sure worries alot.

June 25 - I got to see Dr. Rahman today. He is a pretty nice guy. He is the one who sent me to St. Louis when I was born. Dr. Rahman told Mommy that he likes to see me because it makes his job more gratifying. He said it is nice to see a child who was so sick doing better a few weeks down the road. Anyhow, they weighed and measured me at the doctor and I weighed 7.5 pounds and was 19.5 inches long. For those of you keeping score, I am almost 2 pounds heavier and 1.25 inches longer than an month ago.

I am rolling from my back to my side and from my side to my back, too. And, if Mommy lays me on her tummy, I lift my head up, too. I am eating a lot, too. I keep Mommy hopping by eating 3 ounces every 2 hours or so. Mommy tries to get me to eat a little more, but I fool her...I spitit all back up! I just love playing tricks on Mommy!
