Talk about HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I can remember a time when we were wishing the rain would stop.  Now, we are hoping for rain.  It is so hot and humid that we don't even want to take the kiddo outside (its a good excuse, anyhow!).

Emily is still not walking.  But, she is climbing.  And, Grandpa taught her to crawl up the steps.  Thanks a lot Pop!  Is this your way of getting back at me for something?

The little gal is getting bigger every day.  She weighed 23 pounds and was 29 inches the other day at the doctor.  She has a new trick.  She'll pucker up her lips and won't unpucker them until she gets a hug or a kiss.  I think Carol taught her that trick!

The other day, I was loading dishes into the dishwasher and left the room for a few minutes.  When I returned, I found Miss Emily standing on the dishwasher door (the picture that is on the front page!).  I didn't know whether to laugh or be angry.  So, I chose to take a picture and THEN get her off the door.  Probably wasn't the wisest move on my part but it sure did make a cute picture!  Then, later that evening, I caught Emily trying to use my computer.  She climbed into my desk chair, leaned way over and was banging away on my keyboard.  Little twerp!
