FEIJOADA

How to make it :
Step 1: In a medium pot, heat 3 tbsp of olive oil and cook the sausage, pork and beef tenderloin and bacon until they are lightly brown. Add the chopped onions and garlic and let it cook until the are all lightly brown.

Step 2: Add the beans, salt, bay leaves and let it cook for about 15 to 20 minutes. Add other seasoning if you prefer (such as peper, parsley, and some people also like to add cillantro). |
Step 3: How to serve -- feijoada is the main dish, served with white rice,collard greens cooked with bacon and onions, seasoned yucca flour and slices of navel oranges. Very yummy! A mixture of sweet and salty, very exquisite, guaranteed to please the most distiguished palate. Arrange all of the side dishes by the feijoada at the plate, as shown in the picture below, and enjoy! |
