So, let's see how you did!
Example #2: You want to start a video game club at your school with some friends. The 5 of you decide to have your first meeting and plan to have one meeting each month. During that first month you find more students who would like to join your club. Your club begins to grow by 7 members each month!

What is the starting point?
- Ask yourself, "How many members did I begin with?"

- If you said, 5 members, you are correct!

How was your graph?
- Did you label your axes with Members and Months?

- Did you point out your starting point on the graph?

Graph of members versus months. Starting Point has been pointed out on the graph.
