Michelle L. Cathorall, DrPH, MCHES

I am curently an Assistant Professor of Public Health in the Department of Applied Health.  I teach a variety of public health and health education courses in the undergraduate program, see the Teaching page for a complete list of the courses I teach.

Prior to joining the faculty at SIUe I was the Director of HealthyUNCG, the health promotion program for employees at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  I also taught a variety of courses in the Department of Public Health Education.

In the Spring I will be leading a public health travel study to Costa Rica where students will experience environmental health and examine the social, cultural and political aspects of environmental health in an international setting.  Students will also have the opportunity to interact with locals to compare and contrast issues and solutions to problems.
