Explanation

C. Coverage and Comparability (Historical Research)

1.  Digital History

2.  HyperHistory

The information contained on the site is not only accurate (because, in most cases, citations are provided to verify the facts) but also very in-depth in terms of coverage.  In terms of comparability, Digital History is very similar to the multi-volume Chronology of World History set in the Library’s Reference Collection.

In terms of coverage, the information contained on the site is very limited in terms of depth (usually only a paragraph or two is used for a person’s biography).  Because of the lack of depth in the information presented, this resource also does not compare very well with similar scholarly print products.
