Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

If the journal you need is not available in print or an electronic format, you can always request the article through interlibrary loan (this service is available only to current SIUE faculty, staff, and students).  In Spring 2005 Lovejoy Library implemented a new interlibrary loan service called ILLiad that simplifies the process of submitting and tracking interlibrary loan requests.  Users must register for ILLiad and log in using their SIUE e-ID user name and password.  Click here for additional information about ILLiad.

Lovejoy Library pays the first $15 of each request charge so there is usually no cost for you.  However, materials ordered through interlibrary loan take, on average, 7 to 10 business days to be delivered to Lovejoy Library.  You will receive notification once your article has been received.  Interlibrary loan materials are retrieved from the Circulation Desk.
