Locating Journals

Each piece of the citation will be important in trying to determine whether or not Lovejoy Library has a particular journal.  The first part that you will need to use is the journal title (sometimes referred to as the Source).  Once you have determined if the Library has access to the particular journal, you will need to use the Volume and Date information to see if you can retrieve the specific issue that contains your article. At this point, you will use the Author, Title, and Page Numbers to locate the article.

To locate an article in an electronic format, you will have to use TDNet, the Library's electronic journal management system.  (Locating a journal in the Library's physical collection using ILLINET Online, the Library's online catalog, will covered later in this module.)
