Tucker's Home before Home

There are several places you are able to find a dog to make your own. There are shelters where you can rescue abandoned dogs or abused dogs. There are dog breeders for a specific type of dog you want to own. Or you can get them from a friend or family member or wherever you can simple find the perfect pet.
Tucker came from a dog breeder whose name is Vonnie Suggs. Her and her family owns a kennel called Jake’s Goldendoodles in the town Xenia, Illinois. They have been breeding Goldendoodles for over 27 years now.
Vonnie says, “I retired on disability when I was 40, so I had to find a hobby and I loved my Retriever Rusty so much I thought it would be fun to have more little Rusty’s running around and that’s just how things got started.”
Vonnie and her family have 6 pups of their own and usually sell all the pups as soon as they announce they have a litter ready to be adopted.
When you adopt a puppy from Jakes Goldendoodles you are not only getting a puppy, but you are getting a healthy puppy. The puppy comes vet checked, has an Illinois health certificate, is up to date on shots/ worming, the parents AKC registration, bag of food that your puppy is used to eating, a two year health guarantee, lifetime breeder support, and puppy training tips.
When we asked Vonnie why her kennel would be the best to buy from she said, “Not many breeders offer all the things we do when you adopt a puppy from us. We also are able to ship the puppies to 48 of the 50 states.”
Vonnie says that they usually have puppies all year round and may occasionally have a waiting list. They also take deposits to hold your puppy.
