Project Focus: Create a database to input undergraduate and graduate program documents a lot easier and more efficient.

Description: This access database was created for Dr. Kobb, so she can input information about the current or past Chair, Dean, Director, Internal Review, External Review, and Self Study Preparer. The database makes her job a lot easier because she can easily pull up information about any of these undergraduate and graduate program documents, from any point and time. The database also allows her to send out emails to whomever she needs by clicking one button and choosing the recipients. Automated emails are also available, in order to keep employees informed on their due dates. Lastly data can be added or updated at any point in time.
Challenges: The challenge of this project was to develop a database for Dr. Kobb, so she can input the undergraduate and graduate program documents, and access, add, or update them whenever needed. The database is supposed to make her job a lot easier and a lot less paperwork.
Reflections: Our group did very well together on this project, but there were a few stipulations that Dr. Kobb did not clarify till after we presented our databases to her. If she was to manipulate our database to fit her needs exactly, I believe that the database would be perfect for her.
