Below, I have several pieces that I have created for both design and publication. Feel free to take a minute to browse!
Brochure: PRSSA- I created a brochure to be used for this organization that I am part of for my speech 315 class. I have submitted the brochure to our professional advisor who is going to look at it to publish and hand out at the beginning of the year.
Newsletter: Relay for Life- I created a newsletter for the members of the Purple PRoject Relay for Life team for my speech 315 class.
Advisory: Relay for Life- I created a draft of a media advisory to send to the universities paper, the Alestle, to encourage them to cover PRSSA's participation in the Relay for Life event.
Newsrelease: PRSSA- I created a draft of a newsrelease to send to the speech communication department's newsletter, The Communicator, addressing PRSSA's induction of new officers for the 2013-2014 school year. As I am one of the new executive board members, I felt that this could be a good opportunity to bring awareness to the campus about our organization.
Newsletter: Interpersonal Communication- I created a draft of a newsletter to send to the speech communication department for their newsletter, The Communicator, that addresses the importance of interpersonal communication skills in the workplace.
Feature Story: Relay for Life- I created a feature story draft that I could send to the SIUE Alestle paper on PRSSA's particpation in the universities annual Relay for Life event.
Pitch Letter: Relay for Life- I created a letter to send to the Edwardsville Intelligencer to encourage them to write a story on PRSSA's participation in SIUE's annual Relay for Life event.
PSA: PRSSA- I created an ad in my 315 class to be used for the organization that I am a part of, PRSSA, to use to help increase enrollment.
Research article: URCA- This is the article that my undergraduate reasearch professor and I wrote on the lives of the Civil War nurses post-war. It looks into their battle to receive pension for soldiers. We have submitted the article to the American Journal of Nursing and have received confirmation that after we make a few changes, the article should be published.
