1927 Durant Star
Huckster Truck
One of 471 made from 1923 to 1928. There are less than 6 left.
This Truck was last licensed in 1939 then found in a field in the late
70's. (Above left picture) It took 10 years to restore to its
original condition. My
grandpa did the full restoration of this vehicle from the late 80's
through the 90's. My brother Dan enherited the truck 4 years
ago. My brother was always going to car shows with my grandpa and
helping out with his vehicles. This is a very rare vehicle.
According to historian Mr. Bob Krause, this truck is believed to be the
only original left in the world. This is one item that my grandpa
would like to see stay in our family for a long time. We would
like to have it passed along through our family. The next
generation after my brother will determine what happens to the truck,
we all just hope it stays within the family. (Richard
