EXAMINATIONS, QUIZZES, AND ASSIGNMENTS: 

Material for examinations and quizzes will be taken from lectures (which may cover material not in the text), assigned readings, and project/lab assignments. Examination questions will tend to be short answer (requiring from one sentence to a paragraph) and  multiple choice.

Lab assignments are as indicated in the detailed course schedule.  Most assignments will be completed in class and lab. If you do not have sufficient time to complete hands-on assignments in class, you are expected to complete them outside of class prior to the beginning of the next class period. 

Unannounced quizzes are not planned; however, you are expected to attend class every day. If the class as a whole requires motivation to study assigned material, unannounced quizzes will be given and the quiz points will be added to the course total of available points.
