HOME OF ILLINOIS WILDCATS BASKETBALL
IL WILDCATS is an AAU/Travel basketball program which is based out of the South Suburbs of Chicago. The program began in 2003 as CCH Orange Crush with just one boys basketball team that competed in leagues and tournaments throughout the local South Suburban area.
Each year we have added an additional team including expanding to offering teams for girls. As we have grown over the years we have also expanded our traveling experiences to include tournaments throughout the states of Illinois and Indiana in an effort to become a more competitive and recognized program.
Today, after several years of experience in the Midwest Region and at the National level; we now consider our program to be one of the most organized, affordable and talented programs in the State of Illinois. It is our goal to build off of our success and continue to offer one of the finest AAU/Travel basketball experiences in the country.
For 2013, IL WILDCATS will offer teams for boys 10U/4th grade through 17U/11th grade and for girls 13U-14U/7th & 8th grade. Our mission for these teams is to teach the game of basketball, build good work habits and confidence in one's self while developing skills to play at a higher level of competition.
Our current coaching staff is comprised of professional men and women who volunteer their time to teach these young men and women. We use this program as an avenue for keeping our youth off the streets by providing activities that will develop and enhance their individual skills. Additionally this program is also a means to help motivate our youth and assist them with maintaining an active lifestyle in an effort to remain healthy and reduce childhood obesity.
The Illinois Wildcats Program is an instructional and developmental youth basketball program for student-athletes competing in local, state, and national AAU and invitational tournaments.
Our objectives are to inspire our youth, regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin, to practice the ideals of good health, dicipline, and character. We strive to keep the welfare of the player first, and entirely free of adult glory.
Our Philosophy
we believes the game of basketball plays an important role in life's everyday triumphs and tribulations. Both in school and out of school, young people today are faced with challenges that they may view as unachievable.
Through basketball, the concepts of competition, teamwork, communication and dedication will help them to overcome the challenges that once seemed so far away. We want our players to have fun, be challenged and experience success through a game we all have in common: Basketball.
Code of Ethics
The program is for our young people. It is a program to develop good sportsmanship and playing skills. As our players develop, we will stress the basic fundamentals include respecting authority as well as learning the game of basketball.

It is essential that players show respect to their coaches, officials, and spectators.

It is an exciting game with plenty of opportunity for high school competition, college scholarships, and possibly professional careers.
