To
compute the value of class, we take all the
information we now know: |
A
three-credit course is worth up to 12 points — because
for every credit hour in the class, you earn an A (or
4.0 points). In University language, this maximum value of a class is called its QUALITY POINTS. Your GPA is not based on the maximum points available, however. It's based on the combination of credit hours you've taken and the total QUALITY POINTS you've earned. Now we're ready to see what that looks like! |
