TAFFY APPLE SALAD



1 - 10oz can of crushed pineapple
1/2 c sugar
1 T flour
1 egg
2 T apple cider vinegar
8 oz Cool Whip
8 medium sized Jonathan apples, diced small
8 oz cocktail peanuts, chopped

Strain the pineapple into a saucepan. Add the sugar, flour, egg, apple cider vinegar. Cook over medium heat until thick. Refrigerate at least overnight.

1 hour (or so) before serving: fold the cool whip into the sauce. add the apples, crushed pineapple, peanuts.
