GPO ACCESS

GPO Access is a full text database that is maintained by the U.S. Government Printing Office. The database covers an     expanding number of U.S. Government publications including: the Congressional Record and Index, Bill History, Public Laws, U.S. Code, Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, Commerce Business Daily, GAO Reports, Budget of the U.S. Government and Supreme Court Decisions.
    A majority of files date from the 104th Congress (1995/96) to the present. The text of Bills and the Congressional Record are updated daily, the other files on an intermittent basis. Searching is by keyword, bill number, name, and date and includes help screens for both the individual file as well as general hints.
    Files are in either- ASC11 text or Adobe Acrobat PDF formats.
