SIUE Jazz Camp
The SIUE Summer Jazz Camp is available for students of all experience levels entering grades 8-12.
Campers will learn performance and improvisation techniques from faculty members in the SIUE jazz department.
- Students will work on mastering the fundamentals of jazz improvisation with some of the areas top performers and educators through combo rehearsals, master classes, and jam sessions.
- To close out the week, the students will perform a concert for friends and family at 6 p.m.
Ages/Grade Levels: Students entering grades 8-12 and college freshmen
When: July 15-18, 9:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m. each day (end of camp concert, 6 p.m., Thursday, July 18)
Where: SIUE Campus, Dunham Hall
Camp Fee: $250
Additional $180 for on-campus lodging.
