Award Details
The SIUE University Seal Redesign Scholarship is valid for Fall 24 and Spring 25 terms only, and is not renewable. This scholarship will be applied toward tuition only. The scholarship is valued at $5000, total, and will be applied in equal amounts to the fall and spring terms denoted.
The award will be credited to the student’s university account as a one-time award split over the Fall and Spring semesters after other tuition-only aid is applied. If the student’s tuition is paid by other sources, this scholarship could be issued as a cash award. By accepting this scholarship as part of the financial aid offer, the student agrees to the terms and conditions of the scholarship detailed herein. Financial aid offers can be accessed through the student’s CougarNet account.
The Scholarship in Combination with Other Awards and Financial Aid
The scholarship will be applied as a last dollar amount after any other tuition-targeted aid that has been awarded to the student. If the student has other tuition-only awards, this scholarship can be applied to other portions of the bill, or could result in a cash award that is refunded to the student.
Academic Performance and Student Conduct
The Scholarship recipient must abide by the University academic policy as stated in the catalog and student handbook at siue.edu/registrar, the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for financial aid and scholarship recipients at siue.edu/financial-aid, and the Student Conduct Code at siue.edu/policies/.
Scholarship recipients should keep address changes up to date with the University and check SIUE email often for important announcements.
The University reserves the right to extend the competition, refuse submissions, or not make a selection.
