Instructions for Initial eSimulation Courses
American Heart Association requires current ACLS/BLS/PALS certification to complete this recertification course.
Please follow these instructions if you have never been ACLS/BLS, or PALS certified, OR if your ACLS, BLS, or PALS cards expire prior to January 28, 2018.
- This recertification course may be utilized following completion of eSimulation courses to complete required Megacode with a certified instructor to acquire initial ACLS/BLS/ or PALS certification.
- This recertification course may be utilized following completion of eSimulation courses in the case of expired ACLS/BLS/ or PALS.
- Information about the American Heart Association eSimulation Courses may be accessed online.
- Register at OnlineAHA.org and sign in.
- You may then register through the course catalog for ACLS or PALS courses as needed.
- Required eSimulation Course for ACLS: HeartCode® ACLS Part 1
- Required eSimulation Course for PALS: HeartCode® PALS Part 1
- Complete the course, print the certificate and present at the registration table upon arrival.
- You are welcome to attend the lectures and/or complete the required Megacode checkout for each of your eSimulation courses.
- You will receive your ACLS/BLS or PALS card at the end of the course.
