*|FNAME|*,
Are you interested in fraternity or sorority involvement at SIUE? This short video will provide important information to help you get started!
Not sure if fraternity or sorority life is for you? That's ok. At SIUE, we have nearly 300 student organizations, so there's something for everyone!
Tips from Current Transfer Students
We know that transferring to a new school can be tough, so we've asked a few of our current transfer students for some tips on how to make SIUE feel like home.
- Jared, a second-year graduate student in the college student personnel administration program used the Kimmel Student Involvement Center to make connections. "Visit the Kimmel Student Involvement Center and find a way to get involved. You will make numerous connections through campus involvement."
- Josie, a second-year graduate student in the biological sciences program thinks it's important to meet with the professors from your major. She also suggests finding a mentor.
- Lexi, a junior psychology major says, "Transfer students should try to get involved with clubs or activities as soon as possible. It is a bit overwhelming in the beginning to make friends, so finding people who share similar interests makes a major difference."
If you haven't already, make sure you register for Transfer Welcome.
