Dr. Angela Cooper will discuss the archaeology and history of Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. For additional context, she will also provide the history of ancestral Indigenous occupation of the site and surrounding areas. She will also discuss the site’s relationship to similar Mississippian sites and descendant communities.**This event is approved for the SIU System ADEI Leadership Certificate**
