Ghost Walk

If you're interested in learning more about the campus' history, want to see our ghost display, walk around campus, or just want some treats, please join us on October 31st at 7pm for the library's first ghost walk. We ask that participants meet on the first floor of the library next to the information desk at 6:45. The walk will be led by Assistant professor Matt Paris.

Dr. Angela Cooper will discuss the archaeology and history of Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. For additional context, she will also provide the history of ancestral Indigenous occupation of the site and surrounding areas. She will also discuss the site’s relationship to similar Mississippian sites and descendant communities.**This event is approved for the SIU System ADEI Leadership Certificate**

Foreign Language Exchange Meetup

Individuals will be grouped with other students who are interested in practicing the same language using fun conversation prompts. No experience in the language is required. Both American and international students are encouraged to sign up here. This is a great way for students to meet new friends and learn about other cultures!
