Foreign Language Exchange Meetup

The Intensive English Pathway and The Foreign Language Department are hosting a Foreign Language Exchange Meetup! Individuals will be grouped with other students who are interested in practicing the same language using fun conversation prompts. No experience in the language is required. Meetups will take place on October 5, November 2, and December 7, from 3-4pm in Peck Hall room 2315B. Both American and international students are encouraged to sign up here. SIUE Safe Zone Drag Show

Join the SIUE Queer Faculty and Staff Association and Safe Zone Committee in the Metcalf Theater on the SIUE campus for an evening of drag performances. Hosted by the incomparable Desire Declyne, enjoy an evening featuring some of the best drag entertainment in St. Louis, all while supporting the SIUE Safe Zone Scholarship Fund. A cash bar with beer, wine, soda and water will be provided along with an assortment of light appetizers (while supplies last). Doors open at 5 p.m., show starts at 6 p.m., moderated Q&A panel with the performers will take place at 9 p.m. Aadmission to the show is free of charge, we suggest a $15-$20 donation towards the Safe Zone Scholarship Fund, which can be completed during the registration process. Get your tickets today!

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide and will take place at SIUE on November 13-17, 2023.  Participation and volunteer opportunities are open to all students.
