The event starts at 10:30 a.m. in the International room of the Morris University Center. There, we will watch Paw Patrol: The Movie and enjoy snacks! After the movie, we will make our way to Edwardsville Fire Department- Station 3 (the station next to the Early Childhood Center on SIUE's campus) where we will take a 30 minutes tour of the station with the firefighters! The tour will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.  Tour is sign-up only.

Join the Inclusive Excellence, Education, and Development Hub (The Hub) for our Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Opening Ceremony with featured speaker Suzan Nguyen! Suzan Nguyen is a Life Coach helping people overcome adversity, a TEDx speaker, and the author of ‘One Arm But Not Unarmed’. At the age of 22, Suzan experienced a life-altering event after a traumatic car accident that resulted in the loss of her right arm. After experiencing depression, hopelessness, and bitterness, Suzan re-learned how to live life and coach herself out of her dark place. Using her story, she inspires others to create joy from within and be better, not bitter.

Peter Tao of the Missouri Historical Society's Chinese American Collecting Initiative will share exciting discoveries of the initiative regarding the little-known Chinese and Chinese American history in St. Louis and Missouri. Co-presenter is SIUE’s Dr. Min Liu, professor in the Department of Applied Communication Studies. Following the presentation will be Q&A and discussion, as well as light refreshments!

Wildey Theater Movie Tuesday – Gypsy

All movies start at 7pm. Lobby opens at 6pm. The tickets are available for purchase starting at noon on the day of the movie at The Wildey Theatre ticket office. Cash and check only.
