SIUE's international students are invited to attend free English workshops to practice their written or verbal skills. Workshops will include strategies on how to avoid plagiarism. Students can choose from a variety of topics starting on January 30th. Each Monday and Tuesday will offer the same lesson to suit diverse students' schedules, and they can stop by anytime without registration. For details and the learning schedule, click here.

Would you like to hear from those working in the public health field? What do they do? How did they get their jobs? What advice do they have for improving the health of communities and the public? Hear from Bridget Patrick, Program Manager at Southern IL Healthcare Foundation working with maternal and child health and Gregory Pavelka, Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, US Army Reserve Command. All students are welcome.

St. Jude Dude

Help us raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital. St. Jude Dude is a male pageant where contestants compete for the Title of St. Jude Dude. The Dudes are from various campus organizations, and the winner will get $100 of the donations made that night to support their philanthropy of choice. We will also have prize baskets up for grabs. Feel free to bring family and friends. Tickets are $5.00 for presale and $7.00 at the door. Buy tickets here!
