This Fall 2022 semester, Military and Veteran Services will be hosting its MAVRC Book Club [Military and Veteran Resource Center Book Club]. For the October meeting, we’ll be discussing The Rise of the Military Welfare State by Jennifer Mittelstadt (Harvard University Press, 2015). Military and Veteran Services will be offering five free copies of the book!!! To request a free copy, please contact Telisha Reinhardt at treinha@siue.edu. Those awarded will receive only one free book a semester.
