“The Matrix of Race-Fostering Social Change and Justice”
Rodney D. Coates, PhD
February 25, 2021, 7 p.m.

“The Matrix of Race-Fostering Social Change and Justice” will take a unique look at race and racial inequality in visible new ways regardless of our backgrounds–from minorities who have experienced the impact of race in their own lives to members of dominant groups who might believe that we now live in a color blind society.

Rodney D. Coates, PhD is professor of critical race and ethnic studies at Miami University and an alumnus of SIUE. He is a public sociologist engaged in critical race, social justice, social movements, social policy and practice.

To register for this free event visit Arts & Issues.
