Leadership Lunches

The theme for November's Leadership Lunches is Resiliency and Empathy! On Monday, November 2nd and 9th, students on the Leadership Programs Get Involved Roster will be sent a presentation on a different component of diversity. Work at your own pace to view the Monday sessions before the live Zoom panel later this month. Here are this week's presenters:

  • Overcoming Adversity with Dr. Matthew Petrocelli, Criminal Justice Professor
  • Vulnerability Yields Impact with Kamariah Lewis, SIUE Class of 2020 Graduate and creator of SheisHealing.com

Join the experts from each of those presentations at the live Zoom panel hosted on Wednesday, November 18th at 12:00pm

Need to get on the roster to receive those presentations? Have questions about this new process? Email leadership@siue.edu

Submit a question to our presenters for a chance to win a free beanie hat!

Service Saturday

Service Saturday

If you are looking for service opportunities, we have them! The Community Engagement Team in the Kimmel Student Involvement Center invites you to participate in our weekly Service Saturday programs. Please visit the Get Involved site to RSVP for your spot at one of these great community agencies. Please be prepared to serve with a mask on. Registration/RSVP is required as spaces are limited and paperwork must be filled out prior to the visit (on the day of the visit but before departure as a group in university-provided transportation). Check out this week's opportunities:
To find a complete list of Service Saturdays, check out the list here. For any questions or additional information, please contact Community Engagement Graduate Assistant, Meredith Bates.
