Leadership Programs

The Kimmel Student Involvement Center is now accepting applications for two of our premier leadership programs!

Emerging Leaders

Emerging Leaders is an 8 week workshop series for students to learn the building blocks of leadership. Students will learn as a group through interactive Zoom sessions, with special focus on goal setting, conflict management, and personal strengths. Students of all majors are encouraged to apply, though this program is mostly designed for first and second year students. Apply by Wednesday, September 9th here.

Legacy

Legacy is a year-long, cohorted opportunity for advanced student leaders looking to finesse their leadership style and skills. Participants will meet biweekly for action-oriented sessions, complete a group capstone, and will complete personal leadership manifestos and leadership development plans. This program is primarily for juniors, seniors, and graduate students, but we are accepting applications from any interested student. Apply by Friday, September 11th here.

Cougar Cupboard: Fall Operations

Cougar Cupboard

Cougar Cupboard Hours by appointment only for Fall 2020 beginning Wednesday, September 2nd:

Wednesday, 2:00-6:00pm
Thursday, 12:00-2:00pm
Friday, 12:00-2:00pm

If you are in need of food the week of August 24th, you may visit the Kimmel Student Involvement Center in the MUC, Monday-Friday between 8am – 4:30pm, to receive a pre-packaged box of food. These boxes are just a substitute until the Cupboard opens the first week of September.

Please visit the SIUE Cougar Cupboard Facebook or Instagram accounts to schedule your appointment via Sign Up Genius. The new link will be posted every Monday starting in September.

You are expected to bring and wear face mask. We ask that you arrive for your appointment on time. If you arrive early, there will be some physically distanced seating outside of the cupboard and someone will notify you when your appointment time begins.

If you have any questions about your appointment or are a new client to the SIUE Cougar Cupboard, please contact the Cougar Cupboard to complete paperwork prior to your appointment.
