This position allows its workers to work with children meaningful, encouraging their academic, behavioral, and social development.

Esports Arena Grand Opening and Open House, Jan. 16
SIUE students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to the Grand Opening and Open House of the Esports Arena, hosted by Housing and Campus Recreation.
Tour the space and have the opportunity to play various Esports games. Giveaways, snacks and light refreshments will be provided.

Desk Manager (DM) Job Functions
- Provide safety and security for residents
- Provide excellent quality service to residents and guests
- Build rapport with residents
- Educate residents and enforce University Housing policy
- Serve as a resource for the community
- Manage administrative tasks: checking in/out guests; issuing and logging parking permits, packages, and keys; maintaining and updating other forms and records
Qualifications
- Must submit a completed application by the appropriate deadline: Saturday, February 15.
- Must be able to be a DM for the entire 2020-2021 academic year.
- Must have at least a 2.3 cumulative GPA (DMs are required to maintain a 2.3 GPA).
- Cannot be graduating before May 2021.
- Cannot be enrolled in the School of Pharmacy program during the 2020-2021 academic year if a new applicant.
- Must have lived in University Housing for at least two full semesters by the time you would begin as a DM. (summer is counted as a semester)
- Must be in good financial, academic, and behavioral conduct standing with the University.
- Submit a completed application by the appropriate deadline: Saturday, February 15.

Current students can reserve their space on-campus for fall 2020 - spring 2021 during the housing reservation process. The online application for space will be available online from October 28, 2019 - February 7, 2020. Current residents will have to complete the online application for space and pay the $200 advance payment by February 7, 2020. Current residents should not complete a new student application.
