Submitting a Thesis for Spring 2019 Graduation

Congratulations, you’re almost there! The Graduate School wants to help you on the final step of your graduation process, completing your thesis. The deadline for submitting your thesis via ProQuest is 04-29-2019Students who submit their thesis after 04-29-2019 will automatically be deferred to Summer 2019 graduation.

Check out the Graduate School’s “How to Submit” page if you are unsure of the submission process. You can still upload your thesis if you’re not quite finished with the formatting, however, this will cause a longer formatting review process.

Once your thesis is submitted a Graduate School thesis reviewer will contact you with revision suggestions as soon as possible. Keep in mind that initial theses reviews are conducted in order of submission. If your thesis was submitted close to the deadline, it will take longer for your initial review.

If you have questions or problems about your thesis submission please email or call the Graduate School

Graduate Student Appreciation Week

This week is Graduate Student Appreciation Week!

The Graduate School will have a table at the Graduate Student Symposium Wednesday, April 3rd from 2:30-4 in the Goshen Lounge to thank our Graduate Students!   Not only will the outstanding achievements of SIUE graduate students be featured in the Symposium, but we will also be showing comments and pictures from faculty/staff about the amazing graduate students they get to work with! These comments will also be posted on the graduate school twitter account starting Monday, April 2nd.  Click HERE to read the comments submitted by faculty and staff at SIUE.

ADDITIONALLY, there will be a drawing for a FREE GREEN PARKING PASS for the 2019-2020 academic year! (must be a currently enrolled graduate student to enter)  Students must be present to enter the drawing at the Symposium. A winner will be announced Thursday, April 4.

Summer Graduate Assistants

REMINDER: Graduate Assistants should not start working until their contract has been fully executed and they receive a notification from the graduate school. You will receive a confirmation email once your contract is processed.
