Volunteers Needed to help with SIUE PrideFest 2018, June 24 |
|
|
Dear Allies,
We are days away from PrideFest 2018! This year’s theme is Remember. Rise. Respect.
We invite you to represent our University community by walking with us during the Parade on Sunday, June 24 in St. Louis
Safe Zone of SIUE, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, will host a booth at the festival to support the community and to tell visitors great things about our University.
We are looking for volunteers and shift leaders to staff our booth, and help us give away spin-the-wheel prizes. This is a fun time, and the energy at the festival is exciting and positive.
We need volunteers in as little as one-hour increments. Shift leaders are needed in three-hour increments. Shift leaders will serve as a backup to volunteers not able to attend, assist with setup or takedown and call authorities in case of an emergency.
For more information, contact Shelley Price-Williams at shewill@siue.edu or Mary Sue Love at marlove@siue.edu.
Visit the event website for festival information at PrideSTL.
