Rene' Smith has dedicated herself tirelessly to the SIUE East St. Louis Center (ESLC) for the past 19 years, serving as Departmental Information Supervisor and aiding in the success of the Upward Bound Trio Programs. She will retire Friday, Dec. 22.

"I will miss and and am grateful for all the amazing people I've met from the Edwardsville and East St. Louis campuses," Rene' said, "and for the working relationships and friendships we have built."

The SIUE ESLC TRIO Department will miss Rene.' She will be remembered most for her morning greetings, and her signature sign-off for the day: "See you in the a.m."

SIUE Introduces Online Organizational Talent Management Series

SIUE is introducing online organizational talent management courses that provide instruction and practical applications for incorporating industrial/organizational psychology into organizational decision-making. Enrollment is open now for the non-credit course modules that will begin in February.

Topics include gathering high-quality survey data, analyzing and interpreting survey results, and designing structured interviews to improve the selection process accuracy. Courses are taught by Joel Nadler, PhD, associate professor of psychology in SIUE’s School of Education, Health and Human Behavior, an experienced professor and practitioner of industrial/organizational psychology,
