Watch for these Kindermusik Classes this Fall

Register for these Kindermusik Fall Classes by Friday, Aug. 25.

Kindermusik is a music and movement program with curriculum for children ages birth through seven. More specifically, Kindermusik classes provide a holistic musical and learning experience in the critical first years of young children and their families. This developmental program, guided by a proven methodology combining music and childhood development, provides opportunities to foster child-parent relationships and gain a lifelong love of music and learning. This program is great preparation for future Suzuki students as well! It is taught by a trained and licensed Kindermusik educator. The SIUE Suzuki Program presents “Kindermusik with Ellen Singh.”

“OUR TIME Class” for children ages 1.5-3
Semester Theme: Wiggles and Giggles

11 a.m. Thursdays Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28 and Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26 and Nov. 2 and 9

This class encourages children to be creative, to initiate their own ideas and to respond in their own ways, while parents active participation gives the toddlers the security they need. Playing instruments, singing, moving and exploring uncover an engaging musical world, while building the toddlers’ confidence, self-control and communications skills. The more than 30 songs, 15 dances and eight different instruments create these unique music activities, designed to reflect the importance of movement and the “wiggles and giggles” in the life of your toddler.

Tuition of $160 is due by the registration deadline.

"It takes more than one person to do this job," said Devine. "It takes all 10 of us! Thanks to Cathy, Peggy, Elizabeth, Beth, Jeanie, Deb, Kim, Tracy and Deb E. There are days that are so chaotic, and it helps when we all work together as a team. Thank You!"
