Don't Miss WORKING the MUSICAL

Summer Showbiz 2017 at SIUE offers the musical theater adaptation of Studs Terkel’s tribute to the American worker: WORKING the MUSICAL!

Friday-Saturday, June 2-3 and Friday-Saturday, June 9-10
7:30 p.m.

Sundays, June 4 and 11
2 p.m.
Metcalf Theater

WORKING the MUSICAL is a down-to-earth, yet elevating musical that features songs based on real interviews with several of Americana’s work force with music by James Taylor, Craig Carnelia, Mary Rodgers, Micki Grant and Stephen Schwartz. The characters sing and dance and talk about their jobs, defining not only their daily routines, but their hopes and aspirations as well.  This artful examination of people from all walks of life proves that it is more than just a job for the average working American.

Ticket Prices are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and all others, except for SIUE students with a valid student I.D. who will be admitted free. All seating is general admission.

Group rates are available for Summer Showbiz! Bring 10 or more people and receive 15% to 20% off the single ticket purchase price.

For tickets, send a message to theater-tickets@siue.edu or call the Summer Showbiz Box Office at 618-650-2774.
