CAB's Springfest 2017 Begins Today

The Campus Activities Board's Springfest 2017 is scheduled to run through Thursday, April 20.

This year's theme is "Cougars in the Outfield."

One of the events will include a lip sync battle:
6 p.m.
Today
Morris University Center, Meridian Ballroom

In order to increase school spirit and morale, CAB has added a faculty and staff portion to the lip sync competition. Departments are being asked to enter a team into the battle. Your routine does not need to be long and can be from 45 seconds to one minute.

There will be a $50 prize for the winning department.

Springfest is the longest running annual event on campus. This event features such traditions as a giant banana split in a canoe, an outdoor activities fair and cougar karaoke. Each year features a different theme, which is accompanied by themed events.

For more information, contact Casey Vaclavik at cvaclav@siue.edu, Andrea Keller at andkell@siue.edu or call 650-2686.
