Attend Today's 10th Annual Cougar World Games

SIUE Campus Recreation will host the 10th Annual Cougar World Games:

6-9 p.m.
Today
Student Fitness Center Activity Gym

The Cougar World Games will challenge, inspire and bring together diverse student groups and organizations to SIUE students, faculty and staff.

For the fourth year, the “interaction zone” will be available during the event. This activity is designed to provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to dialogue and share information about their culture, countries of origin or outside organization.

Currently, there are commitments from such individuals from India, Serbia, Greece and Nigeria, to name a few.

Campus Recreation is looking for volunteers to engage with students in the “cultural interaction zone.” If you would like to volunteer or know students, faculty, staff or organizations that would like to, please contact Natalie Hawkins, assistant director of Campus Recreation at nrosale@siue.edu or call 618-650-3242.

The Cougar World Games is a special event designed to promote diversity, understanding and acceptance between groups with different cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities through participation in various recreational activities offered across the globe. The basic concept allows students to visit various stations depicted as continents, while learning about culture, sports, music, ethnic foods and more.
