Join us for the annual SIU SDM Research Day on April 9!

The SIU SDM highlights the important role research plays in the daily practice and continued advancement of the dynamic profession of dentistry during its annual Research Day. This year's event will be held Tuesday, April 9. Public activities for all alumni, faculty, residents, students and friends of the School will feature three exiting events: a keynote address, the student table clinic/research exhibition and the SIU SDM vendor fair. We hope you will join us for an enjoyable afternoon!

The SIU SDM hosted nearly 300 local children throughout February in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month (NCDHM). Every Monday and Friday, third-year students led educational activities centered on proper hygiene and diet, while fourth-year students conducted screenings under the supervision of licensed dental faculty.

In February, the annual SIU SDM Midwinter Alumni Reception enjoyed the company of nearly 200 alumni, faculty and friends at the InterContinental-Chicago. The event continues to be attended by more SIU SDM alumni than any other single event each year.

Thank you to all those who attended the 2019 Midwinter Alumni Reception. We hope you will plan to join us when we return to the InterContinental-Chicago on February 21, 2020.

Alumni Trivia Night Fundraiser - Edwardsville 

• Gather your team of eight and help support SIUE student scholarships and alumni programs. Cash prizes to top two teams!
• 6-11 p.m. Saturday, March 23 @ Edwardsville American Legion
• $200 per team includes two drink tickets per team member. Cash bar available and BYO food and snacks. No outside alcoholic beverages please.

Alumni Happy Hour - Alton

• Join us after work for an evening of networking and reconnecting with fellow alumni.
• 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 28 @ The Old Bakery Beer Company 
• Free admission with two drinks tickets and appetizers. Registration strongly encouraged.

Golden Graduation Reunion, May 10-11

• This special event celebrates our most seasoned alumni, our Golden Graduates. If you graduated from SIUE 50 or more years ago, you are cordially invited to join fellow SIUE alumni on campus to celebrate celebrate your time on campus and your lasting commitment to SIUE.
• $25 per Golden Graduate and $10 per guest

The Meridian Society, an auxiliary organization of the SIUE Foundation, promotes women's leadership and invests in SIUE community-based projects. All are welcome at these upcoming events.

An Evening of Jazz Meridian Awards and Soiree

• Complimentary reception featuring the SIUE Student Jazz Trio and Meridian Awards. All current and new Meridian Society members will receive a membership pin.
