Friday, March 1, 7:30 p.m.
Dunham Hall Theater
Tickets: $35 each (discounts available for SIUE staff, retirees and alumni and seniors)

Noted actor Mike Farrell plays Dr. Charles David Keeling, the scientist whose research on carbon dioxide (CO2) gave the world its first early warnings of global warming. In this highly acclaimed performance, Farrell brings to life the quirky and brilliant man who created the Keeling Curve, the iconic chart that illustrates the rise in atmospheric CO2 levels from 1958 to the present. The story combines Keeling's personal journey with the insights of atmospheric scientists who, hundreds of years earlier, made discoveries that laid the foundations for Keeling's own extraordinary work.
To make your evening complete, take advantage of SIUE Friends of Theater and Dance pre-show dinner buffet in the MUC Conference Center. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a reception with dinner starting at 6 p.m.
Dinner tickets are available for $25 each and are purchased separately from the Arts & Issues performance. Preferred seating at the performance will be available for those attending the dinner. In addition, for those who purchase tickets for the benefit dinner and the performance, Arts & Issues will contribute the cost of your performance ticket to the Friends of Theater and Dance scholarship fund.
See Dr. Keeling's Curve for more information and ticket prices for the performance.
