SIUE Softball Hosts Alumnus Matt Graifer ’10 for High-Energy Game and Savannah Bananas Ticket Giveaway on April 2!
The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Softball team is on fire, kicking off the season with an impressive 15-10 record, a perfect 6-0 in conference play, and an undefeated streak at home. Cougar fans have even more to cheer about as SIUE alumnus Matt Graifer (’10), Cast Director and Chief Potassium Enthusiast for the Savannah Bananas, returns to campus for a special appearance at the SIUE Softball game on April 2 at Cougar Field.
Graifer, known for his electric energy and showmanship with the Savannah Bananas, will energize the crowd before the game and join the action in the broadcast booth. SIUE students attending the game will have the opportunity to win tickets to the Savannah Bananas’ “Banana Ball World Tour” game happening at Busch Stadium on April 4. Two lucky students will receive a pair of tickets through a special drawing at the game.
The evening will kick off with a pre-game tailgate in honor of Student-Athlete Appreciation Week, where SIUE will celebrate its dedicated student-athletes.
With Graifer adding his unique flair to the event, attendees can expect an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of surprises. Don’t miss this action-packed night of softball, fun, and giveaways!
