SIUE Athletics Set to Host the Inaugural Cougars Career Networking Night Presented by Northwestern Mutual Fairview Heights-Clayton
On Monday, March 25, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Athletics is set to host the inaugural Cougars Career Networking Night presented by Northwestern Mutual Fairview Heights-Clayton in First Community Arena. SIUE student-athletes in attendance for the event will have the opportunity to network with alumni and leaders in our community.
"This unique experience for our student-athletes and community yields opportunities for the student-athletes to showcase themselves as future professionals and practice networking," Assistant AD for Student-Athlete Success Ashley Beaton Simpson said. "Our business partners will provide information about their companies and share their advice and experiences. Overall, we are so excited to bring this opportunity to our student-athletes and help facilitate professional development and meaningful connections with our impactful sponsors and alumni."
Businesses that are slated to be represented at the inaugural event include Northwestern Mutual Fairview Heights-Clayton, BJC HealthCare, US Bank, Bank of Springfield, Enterprise Mobility, Ascension Charity Classic, Federico KIA and Energizer Holdings.
