SIUE’s Wilson Featured on KMOV for Perspective on Ukraine

SIUE’s Sophia Wilson, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Political Science, was featured live on KMOV4 TV on Monday, Oct. 10.
During her segment, titled “SIUE Professor Explains What’s at Stake for Ukraine,” Wilson analyzed the relationship between Ukraine and Russia and provided perspective on the way forward.
A native of Ukraine, Wilson has spent time as a visiting scholar at the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute, taught courses on Ukrainian politics, and has had recent articles on Ukraine appear in Research in Social Movements, Conflicts, and Change and the Journal of Law and Courts.
