SIUE Winter Session Registration Opens Oct. 31
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s online Winter Session offers students the chance to advance toward degree completion with accelerated three-week class offerings. The session features more than 70 classes taught entirely online.
Registration opens Monday, Oct. 31, and classes begin Monday, Dec. 19.
“The accelerated three-week course offerings through the winter session support SIUE’s student-centered mission, as our high-caliber faculty creatively develop and advance excellent academic programming that meets the need of all students,” said Denise Cobb, PhD, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. “We are empowering students to move confidently toward degree completion as we understand the transformative power of such an accomplishment as our graduates go forth as engaged citizens, industry leaders, innovators and change agents.”
Winter Session features courses in a variety of disciplines, including introductory, upper-division and graduate levels. Students from other institutions may take an SIUE Winter Session course that can be transferred to their home institution. Visiting students must be fully admitted by Thursday, Dec. 1, and should review the visiting student webpage for additional information.
Due to the accelerated timeline, students are expected to dedicate significant time to their coursework each day and to limit themselves to one course in the winter session.
