2022 Project Management Symposium Registration Now Open!
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s School of Business has opened registration for its 2022 Project Management Symposium. The event will take place from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, November 18 at the Morris University Center on SIUE’s Edwardsville campus. The annual one-day event focuses on cultivating the art and science of project management. This Symposium allows participants to earn up to seven professional development units. This year, there are both in-person and virtual attendance options.
Project management (PM) professionals from more than 120 different companies in the St. Louis metropolitan area will participate.
The day will open with Matthew Homann, the founder of Filament, who will lead a discussion on building innovation, collaboration and creativity into every meeting. Todd Finders, senior vice president of Clayco, will close the day talking about how to lead with empathy.
Hour-long morning and afternoon breakout sessions will provide a range of topic choices. Breakout sessions are led by area expert project management professionals. Topics include:

- Best Practices Discussion on Transformational Program Development
- The Art of Small Talk (Get Your Face Out of Your Mobile Device)
- Neuroscience and the Agile Way

The SIUE School of Business is a recognized leader in project management education. The group meets monthly to share best practices and solutions to common challenges, and collaborates with the School of Business to develop the annual SIUE Project Management Symposium.
