SIUE’s Martino-Taylor Shares Expertise in New Documentary and Live Q&A
SIUE’s Lisa Martino-Taylor, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Sociology, will share her expertise during a Q&A following the screening of the documentary “Target: St. Louis Vol. 1” at the St. Louis International Film Festival on Friday, Nov. 5.
The film centers on military experiments that took place in the City of St. Louis. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch detailed the film in an article posted Wednesday, Nov. 3.
Public interest in the experiment were originally prompted by Martino-Taylor’s doctoral dissertation. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch posted an article on that research in 2012.
The Friday, Nov. 5 film screening begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Q&A in Brown Hall at Washington University. For more information, visit cinemastlouis.org/sliff.
